This position reports to

Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Studying all the technical aspects and layouts of the various work packages in the design office and on site, right through to acceptance by the customer.Drawing up technical specifications and costings before or after the order.To monitor the design and implementation of each mechanical batch assigned, including modifications, and to monitor implementation through to acceptance.Assessing risks and opportunities and identifying the best solution.Supervising and monitoring the people carrying out the design and/or implementation, where appropriate.Monitoring the sub-contractors and suppliers involved in its projects from a technical point of view and in terms of quality, costs and deadlines.Steering design reviews with the customer, as delegated by the project manager.To comply with the contractual technical requirements of the project from the preliminary design phase through to final acceptance.Capitalising on experience in his/her field.Reporting to the Project Manager within the framework of the project for which he/she is responsible.Possibility of working on the customer's site during the pre-project, project or site phases.

Qualifications for the role

• Engineering degree - technical and industrial specialisation
• At least 5 years' experience in a robotics design office in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of geometry tooling is a plus.
• Knowledge of automation sectors.
