Quality Inspector
Contek are looking for experienced or junior Quality Inspectors to join an established and growing company in Gloucester.
To be a successful candidate for this position you must have some inspection experience working in a manufacturing environment such as machining, fabrication or similar environments.
Responsibilities;
* Inspection of components using equipment such as Verniers, Calipers, Height Gauges, Shadowgraphs etc.
* Operating CMM's is an advantage
* Working from technical drawings.
* Identify non-conformances, report and address with the production team.
* First off, in process and final inspection.
* Maintain accurate records of inspection.
Experience;
* Inspection experience required in a manufacturing environment such as machining, fabrication or similar.
* Proficiency in using measuring instruments.
* Ideally CMM trained but training can be provided.
* Good communication.
* Ability to work as a team or individually.
* Familiar with ISO9001 standards.
* Good understanding of engineering drawings.
* Ideally served an Apprenticeship.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday
08:00 - 17:00
Friday
08:00 - 13:00
Overtime is available in this role.
