Quality Assurance Tester - Selenium

Location : Gurugram Business Gaming Systems Job Description Summary As a Software Testing Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. You will work closely with the development, product management, and QA teams to identify, analyze, and resolve issues. Your expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and technologies such as Kubernetes and Jenkins will be critical in delivering top-tier software solutions. Job Requirements What you'll do : Total Experience : 4 to 6 years - Mandatory skills : Expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, Kubernetes and Jenkins for deployment and CI/CD processes. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). - Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure software quality. - Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing. - Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools. - Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on testing activities and quality metrics. - Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design test strategies. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the QA process. - Mentor and guide junior testers, providing technical expertise and best practices. - Stay up to date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends. - Develop, document, and communicate best practices. - Incident management and root cause analysis with proper documentation. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus. Qualifications : - B. Tech / M. Tech / BE in Computer Science or equivalent. - MCA Personal Skills : - Positive attitude, Self-starter, self-motivated. - Good communication skills to report program status crisply and accurately. - Must have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. - Ability to plan activities meticulously, identify dependencies and proactively work towards resolution. - Capable of taking responsibility for tasks and ensuring a successful outcome. - Independently determines methods and procedures on new or special assignments. - Demonstrates an extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently as well as team oriented. - Good blend of technical skills and business acumen. - Ability to work with geographically dispersed team. - Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint (ref:hirist.tech)
