Application Developer - Java Programming

Project Role : Application Developer Project Role Description : Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Must have skills : E2Open Supply Management Suite Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Summary : As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will collaborate with the team to ensure successful project delivery and contribute to key decisions. Your typical day will involve designing and implementing application features, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Roles & Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement custom applications and integrations within the E2Open platform. - Customize existing E2Open configurations to meet specific business needs. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to E2Open applications. - Analyze system performance and implement optimization strategies. - Develop and execute data migration scripts to transfer data between systems. - Integrate E2Open with other systems and applications using APIs and middleware technologies. - Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application quality. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively. - Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to understand requirements and deliver solutions. - Mentor junior team members and share knowledge. Skills : Strong proficiency in E2Open's core modules, including: - Procurement - Sourcing - Supply Planning - Manufacturing Planning - Logistics - Global Trade Management - Experience in developing and customizing E2Open applications using ITK. - Strong programming skills in Java, including object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms. - Proficiency in SQL for database queries, data manipulation, and report generation. - Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Understanding of integration methods, such as APIs, web services, and file-based integrations. Good To Have Skills : Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
