PIM Developer - Akeneo/InRiver/Informatica Platform

Key Responsibilities : 1. Building & Customizing PIM Solutions : - Design, develop, and deploy customized PIM solutions using industry-leading platforms (e., Akeneo, Salsify, inRiver, Stibo Systems, Informatica). - Tailor PIM functionalities to meet unique business needs and ensure optimal product data management. - Develop and maintain integrations, APIs, and data connections between PIM and other business systems (e., ERP, CRM, eCommerce platforms). Managing Product Data : - Define and structure product data models, including taxonomy, classification, and data enrichment. - Ensure the highest standards of data quality, accuracy, and consistency. - Automate data workflows for import, validation, and publishing to streamline operations. Integrating Systems : - Lead integrations between PIM and internal/external systems for smooth data exchange. - Manage data feeds, APIs, and middleware to ensure flawless synchronization across platforms. - Collaborate with third-party vendors when necessary to implement additional features or integrations. Supporting the Business : - Partner with Marketing, Sales, IT, and Product Management to align product data with business strategies. - Provide hands-on training and technical support to stakeholders using the PIM system. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain a stable and efficient PIM environment. Testing & Continuous Improvement : - Conduct rigorous testing of PIM solutions to ensure reliability and functionality. - Monitor PIM performance and optimize for speed, efficiency, and scalability. - Identify opportunities for automation and improvements in product data management processes. What We're Looking For : Required Skills & Experience : - Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - A Master's degree is a plus. Experience : - 5 years in PIM development and implementation. - Hands-on experience with PIM platforms such as Akeneo, Salsify, inRiver, Stibo Systems, or Informatica PIM. Technical Skills : - Strong knowledge of PIM systems and tools. - Proficiency in API development and integration (REST, SOAP). - Expertise in data modeling, taxonomy design, and data architecture. - Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and data warehousing. - Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, PHP, or .NET. - Experience with ETL tools and data transformation. - Understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript. - Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce) is a bonus. Soft Skills : - Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving approach. - Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas simply. - Team player with a collaborative mindset. - Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy. - Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with Agile methodologies. - Knowledge of data governance and data quality standards. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - PIM-specific certifications (e., Akeneo PIM Certification). - Understanding of SEO and digital marketing as it relates to product data (ref:hirist.tech)
