SAP Consultant - UI5/BTP Modules

Overview : The SAP UI5, Fiori, and BTP Developer plays a crucial role in the development and implementation of user-friendly applications that run on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Key Responsibilities : 1. UI5/Fiori Development : - Design and develop custom UI5 controls and components to enhance the user experience. - Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications work seamlessly across different devices. - Integrate SAP Fiori elements and standard controls to accelerate development. - Leverage SAP Fiori design guidelines to create consistent and intuitive user interfaces. - Optimize application performance and responsiveness. 2. BTP Integration : - Utilize BTP services (Cloud Foundry, HANA Cloud, etc.) to deploy and manage applications. - Integrate with backend systems using OData services, RESTful APIs, and SAP Gateway. Leverage BTP's capabilities for data integration, analytics, and mobile development. 3. Testing and Quality Assurance : - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities. - Implement automated testing frameworks to streamline the testing process. 4. Collaboration and Support : - Collaborate with business analysts, backend developers, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions. - Provide technical support for existing applications and resolve issues. - Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends. Required Skills and Experience : - Strong proficiency in SAP UI5, Fiori, and BTP. In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript. - Experience with OData, RESTful services, and SAP Gateway. Understanding of backend technologies (ABAP, Java) and database concepts. - Experience with SAP Web IDE, Visual Studio Code, or other development tools. - Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desired Skills : - Experience with SAPUI5 controls, XML views, and JavaScript views. - Knowledge of SAP Fiori elements and design patterns. - Understanding of SAP HANA Cloud and its capabilities. - Experience with SAP Mobile Platform and SAP Mobile Services. - Familiarity with SAP Workflow and BPM.
