Data Engineer - Python/SQL

You will develop a team of data engineers focused on delivering custom, scalable data solutions to clients and ensuring high standards of data quality and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in a consulting environment. What You'll Bring : - 6-8 years of data engineering experience in programming and building large scale data/analytics solutions operating in production environments - Proven experience in managing multiple, complex data engineering projects simultaneously. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex, ambiguous situations. - Exceptional project management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies. - A client-service mindset and a desire to take on tough and challenging projects - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal - Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision - Ability to work effectively across functions and levels; comfort collaborating with teammates in a virtual environment Experience in Technologies : - Data analytics tools : SQL, Python, Snowflake - Data Engineering tools : SSIS, Matillion, dbT - CDC tools : Fivetran, STRIIM - Data visualization tools : Tableau, Power BI - Cloud platform : AWS, Azure - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps practices. Qualifications : - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines - Certifications in any analytics/visualization tools or cloud platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Snowpro, AWS Data Analytics Specialty, Azure Data Engineer / Analyst) are a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
