Azure Cloud Security Engineer - Vulnerability Assessment

What are we looking for : We are looking for candidates who will embrace our Cyber Security strategy in the design, implementation and operations of Cloud Security with a focus on Azure. As an Azure Security Engineer, you should be hands-on in all aspects of Azure security including implementing security controls and threat protection, managing identity and access management, implementing security policies, using Azure technologies. Key Responsibilities : - Collaborate with architects and engineers to design secure cloud solutions. - Implement security best practices and standards. - Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments. - Configure and implement security controls, such as network security groups, Azure Firewall, and application security groups. - Manage identity and access management, including user provisioning, role-based access control, and multi-factor authentication. - Implement data protection measures, including encryption and data loss prevention. - Configure security monitoring and alerting systems. - Monitor security logs and alerts. - Investigate security incidents and respond to threats. - Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities. - Automate security tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python). - Develop custom security tools and scripts. Required Skills and Experience : - Strong understanding of Azure security services and features. - Experience with Azure security best practices and frameworks. - Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python). - Knowledge of network security concepts (firewalls, VPNs, load balancers). - Understanding of identity and access management principles. - Experience with security tools and technologies (SIEM, SOAR, EDR). - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Desired Skills : - Certifications in Azure Security or related fields. - Experience with cloud security frameworks (CIS, NIST). - Knowledge of threat intelligence and threat hunting techniques (ref:hirist.tech)
