Your key responsibilities
The Aenova Group is currently establishing an Operational Excellence task force. The task force will operate as a hands-on internal consulting group with the objective of scoping, implementing, and delivering transformative projects in line with Aenova’s strategy and 5-year value creation plan. The initial team will consist of a Head of this task force plus 2-3 project managers. The Head will report directly to the CEO.
The task at hand is project-dependent, and as such will vary on an as-needed basis. It will encompass site-specific projects as well as overarching group-wide initiatives. The ultimate objective of this team is to create insights, recommend pathways for implementation, and deliver hands-on implementation to achieve best practices. Projects will be both strategic and focused on operational improvement e.g. OEE improvements, footprint optimization and optimall product allocation, working capital optimization, throughput-time reduction etc.
Your responsibilities are:
- Shape and maintain Continuous Improvement framework & methodology, .e.g. CI checklist, DILO etc.
- Manage and coordinate knowledge management systems and community
- Gate-keep transformation methodology and identify opportunities for improvement based on shop-floor observations from Corporate CI and local CI, best practice from other sites
- Develop and deliver Operational Excellence trainings
- Identify cross-cutting issues/topics encountered in transformation projects and identify solutions to address them and coordinate deployment (e.g., Supply Chain; S&OP process or Engineering)
- Build Lean Management expertise
- Advise internal customers to gain best practice approaches with a focus on standardisation
- Communicate on transformation content internally and externally
Your profile
- University degree (Masters/Diploma) in Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management
- Track record of leading transformative operational implementations
- Excellent expertise of standard lean dimensions (Voice of the Customer, Process Efficiency, Performance Management, Organization & Skills, Mindset & Behaviors)
- Distinctive knowledge of transformation approaches (preparation, diagnostic, future state, Tactical Implementation Plan (TIP), implementation, CI) and the core analyses / activities aligned to each phase
- Expert in building CI structures and business intelligence
- Strong stakeholder management, C-level experience and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent project management, team management and coaching skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize a large number of conflicting and frequently changing priorities
- Willingness to travel
- Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken
