Enterprise Server Administrator - Linux & Azure Cloud

Job Description : We are seeking a talented and experienced Enterprise Server Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Linux Server Administration and Azure Cloud, with a strong understanding of FNA and HRMS domains. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and management of our enterprise servers and cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities : - Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL). - Ensure high availability, security, and performance of server environments. - Perform system updates, patches, and security hardening. - Monitor server performance and proactively address issues. - Manage and provision Azure cloud resources (virtual machines, storage, networks). - Utilize Azure services like Azure Active Directory, Azure Compute, Storage, and Networking. - Implement cloud-based solutions to enhance scalability and reliability. - Optimize cloud resource utilization to reduce costs. - Provide technical support for FNA and HRMS applications. - Configure and maintain HRMS and financial systems. - Troubleshoot application issues and performance bottlenecks. - Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and provide solutions. - Monitor server and cloud resource performance metrics. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. - Implement optimization techniques to improve system responsiveness. - Implement security best practices, such as access controls, encryption, and vulnerability scanning. - Stay up-to-date with security threats and vulnerabilities. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Automate routine tasks using shell scripting, Ansible, or other automation tools. - Develop scripts for system administration, deployment, and maintenance. - Diagnose and resolve system issues in a timely manner. - Implement effective incident management procedures. - Analyze system logs and identify potential problems. - Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of enterprise applications. - Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications : - Strong understanding of Linux server administration (i.e., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL). - Experience with Azure cloud services and Azure portal. - Knowledge of FNA and HRMS domains. - Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). - Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). - Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills (ref:hirist.tech)
