Roles and Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain robust applications using Java (Java 11). - Design and implement microservices architecture with a strong focus on scalability and performance. - Integrate messaging systems like Kafka or equivalent for seamless communication between services. - Manage and optimize database systems such as MongoDB or equivalent. - Follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure high-quality software delivery. - Write and execute automated test cases using JUnit and Mocking frameworks to ensure code reliability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions. - Utilize GitLab for source control, continuous integration, and deployment. - Support and maintain the existing codebase, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Skills and Qualifications Required : - Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Java development. - Proficient in Java 11 and Spring Framework. - Strong knowledge of microservices architecture. - Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka. - Familiarity with database management systems like MongoDB. - Solid understanding of SDLC and software engineering best practices. - Experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD processes. - Exposure to automated testing frameworks like JUnit, Gherkin, or equivalent. Nice to Have : - Familiarity with GitLab test automation and other DevOps practices. - Experience in advanced test automation tools or methodologies. - General experience with mocking and behavior-driven testing tools.
