Cloud Infrastructure Architect - AWS/Azure

Key Responsibilities : - Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, GCP, and Azure to meet performance, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency requirements. - Lead the architecture and implementation of highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using industry best practices. - Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and security teams to define cloud infrastructure requirements and ensure the proper integration of cloud services. - Develop cloud infrastructure strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives, ensuring that architecture and implementation plans are scalable and cost-efficient. - Implement automation, monitoring, and cloud management tools for infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and optimization. - Design and implement cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and network access control lists (ACLs) across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments. - Define and enforce cloud security policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal security standards. - Ensure the cloud infrastructure is resilient, optimized for performance, and cost-effective by leveraging best practices in cloud architecture. - Evaluate new cloud technologies, tools, and services, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams working on cloud architecture and infrastructure projects. - Manage and oversee the migration of workloads and services from on-premises to the cloud. - Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans using cloud-native services. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine the cloud infrastructure architecture and support the deployment of enterprise applications. - Continuously monitor the performance of cloud infrastructure and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Preferred Skills : - Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps). - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Stackdriver. - Experience in database architecture, including cloud-native databases (e.g., Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database, BigQuery). - Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). - Understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
