Senior DevOps Engineer - Docker/Kubernetes

Job Description : Relevant Yrs of experience :5 years. Mandatory skills : - Proven experience with CI/CD tools like Red Hat Ansible, Kubernetes, Prometheus, GitHub, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins. - Must have Groovy scripting knowledge. - Good to have Python, Perl or Ruby scripting knowledge. - Practical familiarity with public cloud resources and services, like Google Cloud/ AWS, or Microsoft Azure. - Good to have Terraform knowledge. - Familiarity with various IT monitoring and management tools like Datadog. - Proficiency with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across test and production environments. - 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer. - Candidate should be able to work independently without much/ minimum guidance. - Candidate should have real time experience and not just theoretical knowledge. Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI. - Automate build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery. - Integrate with version control systems (Git) and artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory). - Utilize configuration management tools like Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management. - Work with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure) to deploy and manage resources. - Leverage infrastructure as code (IaC) principles to define and manage infrastructure in a declarative manner. - Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker. - Manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to ensure scalable and resilient deployments. - Implement robust monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog. - Configure alerts and notifications to proactively identify and resolve issues. - Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems in production environments. - Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and implement solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
