Software Engineer

Location : São Paulo, Brazil

Position : Software Verification and Validation Engineer – e-Powertrain

Responsibilities

• Perform Software Verification and Validation for e-Powertrain AUTOSAR-based Safety Compliant ECUs, including pre- and post-integration.
• Analyze requirements, design and develop test specifications, and ensure traceability.
• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks for test benches.
• Automate testing processes using CAPL scripting language.
• Reproduce and verify software / hardware bugs.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE Level 2 standards.

Key Requirements

1. Test Lifecycle Knowledge: Proficient in requirement-based testing.
2. Expertise in coverage, boundary value, and negative scenario testing.
3. Technical Skills: Experience with Vector tools and testing solutions, such as CANoe and vTESTstudio.
4. Experience with TRACE32 Debugger.
5. Proficiency in scripting languages: CAPL and Python.
6. Familiarity with Software Validation for Charger Control Units (CCU) and AC / DC charging functionalities.
7. Standards and Methodologies: Working knowledge of ASPICE.
8. Hands-on experience in HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills

1. Exposure to Functional Safety standards (ISO 26262 Part VI).
2. Knowledge of diagnostics and debugging tools.
3. ISTQB Foundation Level Certification.
4. Experience with HIL bench setup and validation.
5. Advanced Python scripting expertise.
