Job Description
Axon Moore is delighted to bring to market a 15-month maternity cover with one of our valued clients based in Warrington. This role offers flexible working hours, hybrid working, and an early Friday afternoon finish!
We are looking for an immediately available or short-notice Senior Management Accountant (qualified or QBE) to ensure a smooth handover and contribute to the team’s success.
Our client is in the manufacturing sector and are part of a thriving global group. This is a high-exposure contracting role with opportunities to engage at a board level and operationally within a friendly working environment. You’ll report directly to the Finance Director while supervising one team member.
The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background, 5+ years of management accounting experience, and a proven track record in the manufacturing sector.
The Candidate:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical capabilities.
Knowledge of US GAAP (desirable).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with non-financial stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, time management, and critical-thinking abilities.
A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
This role is fast-moving, with interviews commencing from Monday, 9th December. The start date can be immediate or in January 2025.
