SysTechCorp - Workday Adaptive ETL Developer

Key Responsibilities : 1. Workday Adaptive Development & Integration : - Design and develop data integration solutions using Workday Adaptive tools and technologies. - Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources using SQL and AWS big-data technologies. 2. ETL Design & Implementation : - Create High-Level Design (HLD) and ETL design to ensure efficient data pipelines. - Build and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines on AWS technologies such as Glue, Redshift/Spectrum, Kinesis, EMR, and Athena. - Design and optimize AWS ETL workflows and mapping processes. 3. Data Pipeline Management : - Develop, support, and maintain large-scale ETL workflows. - Perform thorough review and testing of ETL programs to ensure data quality and performance. 4. Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting : - Tune and optimize ETL processes for improved performance. - Debug and resolve issues related to data transformation and loading. 5. Collaboration & Documentation : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. - Document all aspects of the ETL development process, including design specifications, troubleshooting steps, and performance tuning results. Minimum Qualifications : - 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Workday Adaptive development. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proficiency in AWS big-data technologies like Athena, Glue, Redshift, S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Lambda, and Snowflake. - Strong expertise in SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts (SCD1, SCD2). - Experience with Python or Java for data processing. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience performing the role of ETL Developer in at least 3 large end-to-end projects. - In-depth knowledge of performance tuning of ETL programs and debugging complex data issues. - Strong background in data warehouse concepts, including designing data models and data marts. - Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Integration tools and best practices (ref:hirist.tech)
