AV Service Engineer
Cheshire | Field Based
£25,000 - £30,000
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays + pension + life insurance + company van + fuel card + ongoing training and certifications
The Company:
A commercial AV integrator specialising in the design, installation and aftercare of high end audio visual systems and digital signage for conference rooms and meeting spaces.

We are now looking for an AV Service Engineer to join the team, ensuring the smooth operation of installed AV equipment post installation.
Position Overview:
Attend service and preventative maintenance visits to clients – primarily within the northern regions of the UK, minimising downtime for clients within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend out reactive service calls, liaising with clients and resolving their issues quickly and effectively.
- Carry out pro-active preventative maintenance visits.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting network related issues.
- Acting as the point of contact for clients when on site, keeping them informed of any progress.
- Troubleshooting control system and DSP issues.
- Maintaining up to date service documentation.
- Being willing to travel and work away from home occasionally.
Requirements:
- Experience as an AV Engineer – service experience is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of control systems and DSPs such as Crestron, Extron, QSYS.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of audio visual control systems and DSPs such as Crestron, Extron and Q-SYS
Package:
- Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
- Company van (personal use)

- Death in service compensation of 5X your annual salary
- Ongoing training will be provided
