Job Description
Technical Manager - CAD Specialist
Are you a skilled Technical Manager with a strong background in CAD and experience in shoe manufacturing? We're looking for a dynamic professional to join a forward-thinking engineering team in Northampton.
As the Technical Manager the key Requirements:
Expertise in CAD systems.
Proven experience in the shoe manufacturing industry.
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Using our CAD system, develop new or update existing patterns.
Create and revise technical specifications and work tickets.
Work with the production team to engineer new styles including development of components, best production routines, etc,
Work on continuous improvement across the factory with a detailed action plan including formalisation of new methods, creation / updating of quality standards and control of implementation of technical changes.
Support the Sales Director on the build of new ranges for seasonal collections or customer's own collections.
Provide technical expertise and guidance of footwear development with key retail partners and Distributors.
