Engineering Supervisor – Watford – 58k + Package
I am currently seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join a forward-thinking business who specialise in Critical Site Engineering. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a team responsible for maintaining critical engineering systems within a high-stakes environment
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee a small engineering team to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of critical systems.
* Manage the day-to-day technical operations of the site, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
* Supervise and support engineering teams on planned maintenance, reactive tasks, and urgent repairs.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, driving performance, and fostering development within the team.
* Ensure the seamless operation of critical systems
* Handle on-call duties as required for emergency situations, maintaining service continuity
* Provide hands on support from a technical perspective
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Critical engineering background (Hospitals, Data Centres, Pharmaceutical) is essential.
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within technical or facilities management sectors.
* Experience with HV/LV electrical systems and holding a relevant HV/LV ticket is required for this role
* Must have held a HV ticket to be suitbale for this role
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a small team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills to work across various departments and ensure smooth operations.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage on-call duties effectively.
