Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Assist and support the Departmental Manager with Safety related Administration and other Safety Management Routines. Preferred Requirements: Matric Basic SHE related qualification (Nebosch; Samtrac) Full competence in this position is typically reached within 1 year on the Job Training Knowledge: Information Management Incident and Accident Investigation COIDA (Act), OHS Act (Basic)) Company SHE Policies Procedures and Standards Using Information Technology - using software and information technology to accomplish ones work. Knowledge of availability of computerized SHE Management systems (eg SAFE T trans) , applications and outputs, quality control Skills: Administration Skills Report writing Problem solving Coaching and training, auditing
