Job Description
Key responsibilities / main job duties: Installing and configuring PCs and software components to ensure usability Troubleshooting hardware and software issues Repairing or replacing damaged hardware Setting up employee profiles on PCs and network Server support and maintenance (both online and offline) Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues Will report directly to the IT Manager Conducting daily backup operations Managing technical documentation Setting up and maintaining printers Candidate requirements: Type of qualification: IT-related qualification A, N, MCSE certification Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS Network printer knowledge Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and day-to-day software Years of experience required: 3-5 Years experience in a similar role with evidence of work in an environment with more than 20 PC Is the person required to have their own transport: Yes P roficiency in certain applications/computer programmes: Microsoft Office Sound knowledge of: Microsoft Server and Desktop software (essential) Linux OS (advantage) Non-negotiable skills: IT fault finding Thank you for applying with RareCruit Follow us on social media for the latest jobs, trends and market insight: Website:
