Site Agent / Construction Manager

Our client is looking for an accomplished and experienced Site Agent/Construction Manager to join their dynamic team and manage the daily operations of their construction projects. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. Requirements: · BTech / BEng in Civil Engineering/ NDip in Construction Studies or equivalent · Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Agent. Responsibilities: · Project Coordination: Take charge of implementing and coordinating all project activities to ensure smooth execution. · Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and legal requirements, conducting routine site inspections and risk assessments to maintain a secure work environment. · Resource Allocation: Oversee the procurement, inspection, and management of project materials and equipment, ensuring all necessary documentation is maintained. · Budget Oversight: Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure adherence to the allocated budget. · Work Scheduling: Plan, schedule, and supervise on-site activities to guarantee the timely delivery of project milestones. · Team Leadership: Lead and manage the workforce, including employees, subcontractors, and local labour, offering direction and support when required. · Quality Assurance: Perform inspections to ensure all work meets project requirements and aligns with industry standards. · Equipment Management: Ensure equipment is regularly inspected and maintained for optimal performance. · Progress Reporting: Deliver comprehensive progress updates to project management, highlighting successes and addressing any challenges encountered.
