Job Description

Responsibilities: · Responsibilities of the job include: · Preparing reports, budgets and financial statements; · Financial administration and internal audits; · Consulting with managerial staff and other colleagues; · Overseeing accounting technicians; · Developing and managing financial systems and policies; · Negotiating and obtaining finance for major projects; · Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure; · Creating business strategies to generate shareholder value etc. Purpose: The role of a management accountant involves overseeing am organisations accounts, with an internal focus on preparing financial analysis to aid business decision making. The financial work is generally aimed at assisting the organisations management to make better decisions to maximise profit and ensure sustainability. Requirements: · Bachelor of Commerce: Accounting or a Bachelor of Science: Accounting and Finance degree or diploma. · CIMA or similar qualification would be advantageous. · A minimum of 3 years experience in Finance / Cost & Management Accounting function. · Industry experience in Electrical. Solar or similar would be beneficial
