K9 Handler

Our client in Delmas is looking for an experienced K9 Dog Handler to join their team. Responsibilities Train and handle K9 units for various tasks, including security, detection, and search and rescue operations. Establish and maintain a strong bond with K9 partner. Ensure the safety and well-being of K9 partner at all times. Implement training techniques to develop skills and behaviors in K9 unit. Maintain and care for K9 units health and grooming needs. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding K9 units progress and performance. Participate in regular training and drills to enhance K9 units skills and abilities. Respond to emergency situations and assist in search and rescue operations as needed. Requirements Matric or equivalent (NQF level 4). K9/Dog handler training certificate (DH 1-2). Any further education in policing/investigations will be highly beneficial. Valid Code 8 drivers license. Own reliable transport. Valid documents PSIRA Grade C. SAPS Competency Certificate. PTFC Statement of Results.
