CCTV Monitoring

This role is based in a central command and control room, monitoring and controlling video walls & computers. These are linked to high end surveillance cameras placed in various locations in and around Cape Town to detect and prevent crime, and protect people. SENIXA runs systems involving integrated CCTV and access control. Our standards are very high as we deal with high end clients. Any suitable candidate will need to be a force to be reckoned with that can do attitude and the willingness to learn constantly. Communication skills are paramount as the successful candidate will monitor analytic & live client environments for unlawful and/ or antisocial behaviors. Key skills involve: Ability to be observant at interpreting people's behaviour, body language and expressions. Ability to be very fast with technology & computers, so video gaming competencies are an advantage. Ability to remain calm, controlled & coordinated under pressure. Ability to be organized & diligent, whilst expressing integrity & accuracy with information. Ensure the confidentiality of all information gained by compliance in line with standards and legislation. Previous experience in a security services environment is useful, although is not a prerequisite for the right candidate. You are required to commute to and from work by means of your own reliable transportation when required to be on duty. You will ideally have a college or varsity level of education. You can work on shifts, includes day and night. Experience in CCTV Surveillance & Security work preferable, although not a pre requuisite as full training will be given the the right candidate. Excellent employment track record advantageous, although we will take college graduate. We will require contactable references. The ideal candidate should have values such as Honesty, Loyal, Trustworthy, Punctual, Reliable, hardworking and a team player.
