Junior IT Technician (Somerset West)

ENVIRONMENT: PROVIDE end-user support, provisioning hardware & software, and troubleshooting end-user IT systems as the next Junior IT Technician wanted by a dynamic provider of cutting-edge products based in Somerset West. Applicants will require at least 2 years work experience in a similar role. Any of the following Certifications will prove beneficial A, N, MCSA, MCSE, Azure Fundamentals Certified and Microsoft365 Fundamentals. DUTIES: Customers - First-line support for IT incidents. Including monitoring and updating the Helpdesk system. Work diligently with the team and end-users to keep users technology running. Internal - Install and upgrade hardware for laptops and desktops, load operating systems, drivers, and software. Troubleshoot hardware issues, e.g., laptops, audio-visual, telephony, printers, etc. Maintain an up-to-date Asset Register of all IT equipment. Maintain physical network infrastructure. REQUIREMENTS: 2 Years of experience in a similar role. After hours work is expected. Advantageous A, N, MCSA, MCSE. Azure Fundamentals Certified and Microsoft365 Fundamentals Certified.
