Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. Manage month-end close processes, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax submissions. Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring efficient liquidity management. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements. Provide financial analysis and insights to identify cost-saving opportunities and support operational efficiency. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment. Skills & Requirements: BCom Degree or Honors in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. AGA(SA) or CIMA certification will be advantageous. 58 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably within the telecoms or technology sector. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel. Strong knowledge of financial management principles, tax regulations, and compliance standards. Analytical and detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
