As an essential figure for the design and protection of industrial control systems, the Control System Engineer is responsible for the configuration, optimization and securing of industrial control networks, ensuring efficiency and operational safety. The position requires a deep understanding of ICS and SCADA systems, as well as soft skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Main Activities & Responsibilities: Network Design: Configure network segmentation, secure remote access, and redundancy planning for ICS and SCADA systems; Regulatory Compliance: Apply ISA99/IEC 62443 and IEC 61508/61511 standards to ensure functional and operational safety; Cross-Discipline Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams to integrate security and functionality into projects; Security Support: Implement and monitor security measures to prevent operational disruptions and cyber threats; Reporting: Create detailed technical documents for monitoring and review. Skills and Requirements: Experience in the design and configuration of ICS and SCADA networks; Knowledge of ISA99/IEC 62443 and IEC 61508 standards; Ability to plan redundancy and segment industrial networks; Attention to detail to ensure secure and reliable network configurations; Strong organizational skills to manage complex projects; Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams; Proactive approach to risk and vulnerability management; Predisposition to continuous learning; Orientation towards safety and operational efficiency. Experiences: Previous experience in ICS system design and redundancy planning; Direct involvement in projects that require compliance with functional safety standards; Availability to travel: Availability to work on-site at different project locations.
