Systems Administrator

Qualifications: 3-5 years of proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role. Proficiency in databases, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management. Expertise in PowerShell CLI scripting and automation. Hands-on experience with HyperV/Vmware and DNS management. Familiarity with website hosting/CDN. Requirements: System administration certifications (Linux, Microsoft, etc.) are a plus. Knowledge of system security, data backup/recovery, and disaster recovery processes. Excellent communication skills and a resourceful problem-solving aptitude. Preferred: MSCE, A/N/Security, ITIL Foundations, Linux/Red Hat, Azure, Office 365, VMWare, and IBM Power Administration. Key Performance Areas (KPAs): Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Ensure the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure. Perform backups, disaster recovery, and failover procedures. Install and configure software, hardware, and networks. Provide technical documentation and specifications. Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies. Collaborate with teams to ensure the seamless operation of servers and networks.
