PROJECT ENGINEER: SOFTWARE Cape Town for a year and relocate to the USA Supports production facility related to production and engineering development activities  Qualification and experience : BEng OR Masters in Mechatronic, Electronic or Electrical Engineering Minimum 3 years working experience in medium/heavy duty commercial system development process (vehicle architecture, specifications, performance requirements, simulation, selecting components, integration, build and validation) Experience in one or more of the following: vehicle control, embedded development, battery management, telematics and functional safety Proven experience in coordinating and supporting validation activities and creating technical reports Project Management Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) Responsibilities: Develop industry-leading solutions for areas of technical responsibility Engage with industry suppliers and interact with engineering development teams Support vehicle builds, testing and validation Ensuring the seamless interaction between software applications and hardware components. Execute engineering development processes flawlessly Leveraging a robust understanding of cybersecurity within the automotive software development environment. Execute engineering development within budget Execute engineering tasks for production The candidate will work from South Africa with the possibility to emigrate to the USA after 1 year.
