Job Description
Area/Location: Industria Johannesburg Overview: A detail-oriented and customer-focused individual with strong organizational skills is needed for the role of Order Processing Clerk. This position plays a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between customers, the planning department, and the logistics team. Key Responsibilities: Customer Liaison: Confirm order details with customers, ensuring references and box specifications are accurate. Order Review: Assess and verify incoming orders for completeness and accuracy. Documentation: Prepare and manage all paperwork related to customer orders and provide the necessary information to the planning department for timely manufacturing execution. Delivery Coordination: Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule deliveries and communicate estimated delivery dates and times to customers. Problem Solving: Address and resolve discrepancies in orders or delivery timelines promptly and professionally. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of orders, communications, and schedules. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient order processing. Requirements: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using order management systems or related software (training will be provided if necessary). A customer-focused approach with the ability to build positive relationships. Previous experience in order processing, logistics, or a similar role is advantageous.
