Accountabilities:

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Automation or related field.
2. Experience with capacity machines (Comas, shell forming, canning, pipe bending, spinning).
3. Must have thorough understanding of cycle time reduction, waste reduction, yield improvement, productivity and throughput improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. Support plant for capacity machines process (Comas, shell forming, canning, pipe bending, spinning). Work with Plant and Corporate.
2. Support Plant in daily activities focused on continuous improvement. Participate in plant daily production meetings and define ME actions to improve production KPIs accordingly, QPS meetings and implement/manage ME related topics.
3. Manage tooling & equipment changes in series production (based on scrap, downtime, QPS or CIP activities).
4. Support growth of Sorocaba, developing local knowledge in the production processes of new projects and new employees.
5. Assist maintenance in critical spare part management preventative for tooling and process; Collaborate with CIP team.
6. Support development team for new technologies, machines trials and acceptance at supplier plant. Prepare PPAP parts for quality department. Conduct production trials, tests and validation parts in capacity process.
7. Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste. Conduct time studies and provide alternative solutions (i.e. work-load balance, machine balance, layout rearrangement, material flow). Perform GAP analysis to identify deficiencies in processes, and implement actions for efficiency increase.
8. Implement open ME items from Program ME after handover (gate 5).
