Job Description
Ensure that all engineering support provided in the project or tender meets the Client’s requirements in addition to all other applicable codes, regulations, and standards. Manage the engineering resources in projects or tenders as assigned. Liaise with the Project/Tender Manager or Senior/Lead Engineer on deviations to engineering and contractual principles. Perform engineering and documentation on time to satisfy Client and project/tender requirements. Development of optimal technical solutions around available DeepOcean assets in response to client scopes. Liaise within the organization Engineering team as needed in support of Africa Commercial and Project Operations.
YOUR KEY TASKS- Work within the engineering team consisting of Engineers, subcontractors, and/or consultants in projects, tenders, or studies on a daily basis.
- Partake in the delivery of commercially and technically optimized solutions that are aligned with client and DeepOcean expectations and are fit for purpose.
- Perform engineering tasks according to the Engineering Procedure in a safe and accurate manner.
- Assist in planning and execution of marine operations.
- Participate in offshore operations as required as part of the offshore team.
- Perform tasks appointed by the Line Manager or Project Manager.
- Organize mobilization and offshore operation as directed within key locations and worksites in Africa.
- Maintain close communication with superiors to ensure clients receive adequate documentation and are updated on progress within given deadlines.
- Develop and seek to improve procedures and project documentation.
- Share and demonstrate special competence/knowledge with colleagues.
- Liaise with HSEQS to ensure all project/tender specific HSEQS requirements are met, and all necessary documentation is completed.
- Assigned scopes are completed in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner in line with contractual requirements.
- Project delivers the expected level of revenue and margin.
- Commitment to on-the-job training.
- Provide Engineering support to others in the department to increase overall knowledge in the engineering department.

Higher Education Degree/Master/Bachelor (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or science subject or extensive and company assessed experience within the actual area.Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience.
Membership to a recognized Industry Engineering body.
Experience in similar roles within Europe and Africa / international subsea market.
Experience with subsea structures and/or vessels and equipment within SURF-, Decom-, IRM-market or equivalent.
Planning and accomplishment of marine operations according to industry standards.
ROV and subsea operations.
You will report to the Lead Engineer. Ideally based in Sète Office in South of France, but remote working is an option.
