Digital Verification Engineer

Location: Paris, France

You will contribute to the verification of cutting-edge digital processing functions for a state-of-the-art CMOS Transceiver ASIC, working closely with both mixed-signal and digital design engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust verification methodologies for the ASIC design.
• Craft detailed verification plans aligned with circuit specifications.
• Design and maintain self-checking test benches for block- and top-level verification.
• Perform regression tests on RTL and gate-level netlists to ensure design integrity.
• Collaborate with the analog design team to enable mixed-signal simulations.
• Participate in evaluating the fabricated ASIC within a measurement lab environment.
• Foster teamwork to successfully develop a next-generation ASIC.
• Actively engage in design reviews, providing constructive feedback.
• Prepare documentation that complies with company QA standards.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in digital IC verification.
• Strong understanding of digital electronics and signal processing principles.
• Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog, as well as scripting languages like TCL, Perl, or Python.
• Expertise in SystemVerilog and advanced verification techniques.
• Experience with the UVM verification methodology (preferred).
• Familiarity with formal verification techniques and gate-level simulation methodologies (preferred).
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience verifying digital functions in mixed-signal ICs (e.g., A/D Converters, D/A Converters, RF Transceivers) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Cadence or Synopsys RTL design flows (preferred).
• Prior experience working with FPGAs is advantageous.
• Team player with a sharp attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
