Outside Sales Coordinator (m/f/d)


We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who is passionate about the containerized cargo maritime transport sector. The successful candidate will drive business development, foster client relationships, and contribute to our company’s growth.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the containerized cargo maritime transport sector.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and stay updated on industry trends.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide tailored solutions to meet clients' logistics needs and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Networking and Representation:

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote company services and generate leads.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain a positive image.

Quoting and Contract Negotiation:

  • Prepare and present quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of contracts and delivery of services.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager.


Requirements:


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the maritime transport, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of containerized cargo maritime transport and logistics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Valid driver's license.
