In this high-impact hybrid role, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, client satisfaction, and strategic initiatives within one of Africa's most dynamic markets. You will manage stakeholders, oversee the development and implementation of country-specific strategies, and ensure the clients continued leadership in the payments ecosystem. What You'll Be Doing: Strategic Leadership: Develop and Execute Strategy: Create and implement strategic plans for Nigeria by combining deep market insights, client priorities, and overarching global objectives. Financial Oversight: Drive financial performance by managing forecasting, budgeting, and meeting country-specific revenue targets. Competitive Edge: Analyse and monitor competitor strategies, deploying innovative responses to sustain and enhance market leadership. Market Representation: Act as a representative in critical engagements, including regulatory affairs, public relations, and corporate social responsibility initiatives, to strengthen market positioning. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with regional teams across finance, product, marketing, compliance, and risk functions to align resources and initiatives with Nigerias strategic goals. Business Development: Opportunity Identification: Seek and develop new business opportunities by introducing cutting-edge products and services to address evolving market needs. Innovation Pipeline: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of innovative solutions that align with the enterprise objectives and strategic goals. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a critical liaison with government agencies, regulators, and financial institutions to strengthen relationships. Client Relationship: Strategic Account Planning: Lead the development and execution of tailored account plans for key clients, focusing on growth initiatives and impactful marketing strategies. High-Value Relationship Management: Directly oversee relationships with the top three accounts in Nigeria, which collectively drive over 75% of revenue, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and business performance. Revenue Growth: Drive business expansion by engaging mid-market managers and leveraging new opportunities for increased market share. Market Insight & Strategy Adaptation: Continuously monitor industry trends and evolving client needs to refine strategies and introduce innovative products and services. Trusted Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to clients, influencing their product offerings and ensuring the solutions are integral to their long-term success. Who We're Looking For: A trailblazer with a BSc Degree (or equivalent); an advanced Degree is highly desirable. 10 years of proven expertise in the Fintech sector, including 6 years in senior leadership roles focused on marketing, sales and business development, and relationship management. A natural leader with Payments Ecosystem knowledge, exceptional strategic thinking , communication, and problem-solving skills. How to Apply:
