Financial Accountant (JB4972) Rosebank, Johannesburg R20 25 000 CTC per month 3-Month Fixed Term Contract Kontak Accounting Recruitment Agency is assisting a client to recruit, hire and employ a Financial Accountant in Rosebank. Seeking an Accountant with a BCom degree in Finance and at least 3 years of experience in financial accounting to join our team. This is a fixed-term contract role, where you will play a vital part in managing financial processes, including uploading and processing payments on FNB and ABSA, as well as performing reconciliations and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience using Xero. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Financial Accounting or related field At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting Proficiency in Xero Accounting Experience with FNB and ABSA administration and payment processing, including beneficiary management Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to learn and adapt quickly Effective teamwork and collaboration Clear and professional communication skills Duties and Responsibilities: Upload and process payments to banking platforms Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements in Xero Prepare and distribute credit card reconciliations to relevant users and managers Update cash flow statements regularly Manage organizational accounts, including billing and reconciliation for service platforms Prepare and distribute financial reports such as budget vs. actuals Liaise with stakeholders to address variances and provide insights Ensure accurate reconciliation of creditor statements Please do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.
