Senior Accountant

Your responsibility will include but is not limited to: Oversee the entire accounting process, including processing purchase orders and issuing invoices Record and post journal entries while performing reconciliations Prepare and compile monthly financial reports using ledger information Ensure the accurate and compliant preparation of annual financial statements Lead and finalize annual audit procedures Support the development and implementation of accounting systems and policies Manage daily treasury activities and cash flow, working closely with the Finance Manager Supervise and manage the bank accounts for multiple organizations on a daily basis Monitor and manage accounts receivable Supervise and handle accounts payable Build and nurture relationships with private equity investors and brokers Develop and evaluate annual budgets, interim forecasts, and cash flow projections Calculate taxes for individuals and businesses Prepare and review VAT filings for submission to SARS Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management Skills & Experience: A minimum of 2 years post-article experience in commerce Excellent communication skills Qualification: Relevant Finance or Accounting degree Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles Grade 12 (Matric) Contact ANNARI STANDER on astandercommunicate.co.za , quoting the Ref: CTF020128.
