Naval Architect (M/W)

You will be part of the design office team and will be involved in the entire ship cycle. You will be involved in design and simulation. In this role, your main activities will be to: Develop the ship’s structural components in compliance with classification societies’ standards and regulations. Illustrate the structural elements using an integrated 3D software tool. Coordinate technical aspects of the project by incorporating specifications from other relevant disciplines interfacing with the structure. Perform localized structural strength assessments following regulations stipulated by the classification company. Generate necessary drawings for technical evaluation with the ship’s metal hull inspector prior to submission for approval. Ensure adherence to objectives regarding quality, cost, and deadlines. Qualifications With an engineering or technical university degree (Bac5), you have at least one year’s experience in similar activities. Experience in the naval sector would be highly appreciated. Knowledge of Smart Marine 3D, Rhinoceros, Microstation, and Ansys Workbench (for simulation) would be ideal. Skills: Notions in steel structures on architectural reviews, general and advanced design reviews. Knowledge of master sections, jigs, and block panel cut-outs.
