To strengthen our team in France, we are currently looking for an Application Engineer (location can be our office in Grenoble or in Cergy) What's it all about? you will provide technical and application support for OMICRON products and services within all areas of the power network to our international customers you will provide input on new products, product strategies, development and application needs you will observe and document customer and market requirements to further develop our products you will actively participate in technical seminars, user-meetings, conferences and expositions you will troubleshoot technical problems for customer and sales support you will prepare and conduct customer visits with practical product demonstrations to support our Area Sales Management you will carry out measurements and lead our customers through training, partly on-site What are we looking for? you have a professional technical education in electrical engineering you have several years of practical testing and commissioning experience in power systems, especially in the fields of power system primary apparatus (CT, VT, Power Transformers and Breakers) ideally you are well experienced with the main OMICRON products and you know how to use them prior customer support experience is advantageous, communication and organizational skills are among your strengths you are proactive and enjoy working in a small team with international roots you have an excellent command of written and spoken French and a very good command of English you are flexible, and would enjoy traveling (up to 50 %) in France and sometimes abroad What makes us a great place to work?
