Java Developer (M/F) at the Institut Pasteur, Paris, France, to work on the Icy software Location: Available from: March 14, 2019 to November 14, 2021 The Institut Pasteur, Paris has an opening for a Java Developer. This is a fixed term contract (18 months renewable), position to be filled immediately. And it is about to bring the Icy software into the future Do you want to work on this with us? See below Context Missions Do you like developing applications for and making use of image analysis? Are you willing to join an interdisciplinary team and build one of the tools of bioimage analysis? Then you are the right person for the position and missions below: Development of the front-end (user interface) and back-end (image analysis algorithms); Technical documentation for developers and end-users. You’ll be part of a team and work with the engineers and scientists that develop the Icy software at Institut Pasteur. Profile We are looking for a software developer (BSc/MSc in computer science) with strong experience in Java language, mastering multitask programming and algorithmics. You are familiar with production tools (git, maven, eclipse, unit test, deployment, code analysis, continuous integration…). You definitely have a good sense of ergonomics, you’re autonomous in your work, and have a good team spirit. Experience in image analysis and/or signal processing would be an advantage. Level of studies BSc/MSc in computer science or related domain. Contract Fixed term contract (18 months renewable), position to be filled immediately. Commensurate to profile and experience.
