About the Company - Our client, a recognised expert in Time and Frequency technologies for over 40 years, with a recognised French and European expertise in time synchronisation systems, is currently looking for an Electronics Engineer to join their dynamic digital signage technologies company near Grenoble (38), France. You’ll join a growing organisation consisting of over 50 specialist experts in the sector for whom cross-functional collaboration is vital. Our client has a historic presence in the Transport, Tertiary and Defence sectors. About the Role - As part of the Technical Studies (Bureau d’études) team you’ll participate in the design and development of new products and services under the leadership of the Technical Studies Director. Responsibilities Study and creation of digital electronic cards, analogue cards and instrumentation. Creating technical specifications for electronic cards and their architecture (analogue and digital). The design of schematics, routing or piloting of routing with an external supplier. Taking responsibility for all stages of design through to validation. Selection of electronic components to ensure functionality, reliability and electrical security and electro-magnetic compatibility of products. Defining the testing, functional validation and performance testing and the overseeing of environmental tests (CEM, Climate). Ensuring the conformity of products, respecting quality standards and procedures within pre-scheduled deadlines. Qualifications - An engineering degree in Electronics or equivalent. 4 years’ minimum experience in design and development of digital and analogue electronic products in an environment with exacting standards for quality. A curious, independent-minded personality that can demonstrate the ability to adapt to new products and environments. Advanced technical English and fluent French. A team-player attitude and strong communications skills. Strong technical skills in some of the following areas: Sensitive analogue technologies, low noise, filtering and closed-loop. Microcontroller architecture, STM32, ARM core. C/C++ programming language. CAO schematics software/Routing: PADS (Mentor Graphics), KiCad. Linux, FreeRTOS, Bare-Metal operating systems experience. Communication: I2C, UART, SPI, USB, LVDS. Setting up RF modules (WiFi, Bluetooth). Pay range and compensation package - Our client can provide a permanent contract ‘cadre’ status opportunity (CDI) working on stimulating and challenging projects within a family owned company with strong values of collaboration and career progression.
