Credit Analyst

We're seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to manage the credit risk of a diverse portfolio. This role requires an analytical thinker who can critically assess credit data, monitor risks, and provide strategic recommendations to credit committees. Responsibilities: Managing credit risk for a portfolio of counterparties by identifying, monitoring, and mitigating risks Conducting in-depth financial analysis, peer comparisons, and industry trend assessments Preparing and presenting high-quality credit applications to credit committees Collaborating with Risk, Compliance, and Legal departments to facilitate new transactions Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of credit ratings and documentation Monitoring portfolio limits and exposures while resolving breaches efficiently Requirements: A relevant degree with 6-8 years of experience in credit analysis Expertise in financial statement analysis, credit processes, and commercial law principles Strong numerical and analytical skills, coupled with excellent report writing and presentation abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and exceptional organisational skills EE Disclaimer: All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
