Financial Reporting : Head

We are seeking for a dynamic professional to head a Finance department, ensuring operational efficiency and accurate financial reporting. This leadership role is ideal for a skilled financial expert with a strong technical background and the drive to inspire a team. Responsibilities: Developing and implementing operational controls for financial efficiency Ensuring compliance with financial policies, manuals, and legislative requirements Preparing IFRS-compliant Annual Financial Statements and managing stakeholder reporting Overseeing tax compliance and implementing new accounting standards Supervising team members, coordinating with auditors, and managing stakeholder relationships Supporting strategic financial resource management and reporting to the CFO Requirements: A qualified CA(SA) with at least five years of post-article experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the financial or insurance industry Expertise in IFRS, tax legislation, auditing, and financial analysis Proficiency in advanced Excel and accounting systems like AX Microsoft Dynamics Exceptional leadership skills, including inspirational leadership, change management, and business acumen EE Disclaimer: All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
