Financial Accountant

An exciting opportunity awaits a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial Accountant to join a dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about financial reporting, internal controls, and budget preparation. Key responsibilities include: Preparing audit files and recording investment data transactions. Consolidating fund managers reports and updating investment positions monthly. Reviewing payment requisitions, supplier invoices, and bank reconciliations. Preparing and filing VAT201, journals, and financial statements. Assisting with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance reporting. Liaising with internal and external auditors and contributing to best practice system development. The ideal candidate will have: A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance. At least three years of post-article experience in a finance unit, ideally in the financial or insurance industry. Proficiency in advanced Excel and familiarity with AX Microsoft Dynamics or similar accounting systems.
