Job Description

Area/Location: Krugersdorp Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our clients team as an Administrative Costing Clerk. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately and efficiently process and track costs involved in client orders. The Administrative Costing Clerk will collaborate closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial principles and processes. Responsibilities: Gather and compile data from various sources to calculate costs and expenses accurately. Enter and maintain cost data in financial systems or databases. Monitor and track costs for different projects, departments, or products. Collaborate with department heads and project managers to collect and verify cost information. Assist in the development and implementation of cost allocation methodologies and procedures. Prepare regular reports summarizing cost data, trends, and analysis. Conduct periodic audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate cost information. Support other administrative and financial tasks as assigned. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus. Proven work experience in a similar administrative or costing role. Solid understanding of financial concepts, cost accounting principles, and budgeting processes. Proficient in using financial software applications and MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate numerical data. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards. Familiarity with ERP systems or other financial management software is preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
