Sales Director - Sandton

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to lead one of our teams in the sales department and drive the growth of their sales pod. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies based on the industries within the pod, manage their sales team, and ensuring that sales objectives are met. The Sales Director will collaborate closely with the CRO to align the sales strategy with the overall business goals. The successful candidate will also be responsible for mentoring and training their sales team, setting achievable targets based on targets for their pod, and maintaining a high level of motivation within the department. A strong understanding of the sales cycle, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively will be critical to the success of the Sales Director role. RESPONSIBILITIES · Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve organizational goals. · Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to maximize their potential. · Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders. · Set and monitor sales targets and performance metrics for the sales team. · Prepare and present sales reports to the executive team and make recommendations for improvements. · Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment in strategy and offerings.
