Job Description
Financial Accountant/HR Administrator (Flexible Working Hours) Qualification Matric Accounting Degree/Diploma HR Administration/Payroll Certificate Requirements Pastel Partner Knowledge of Tax Laws and Dividend Tax Able to deal with R40 million p/a of purchase orders, monthly expenses of R1 million, (Turnover R50 million) Salaries/leave pay Foreign currency and supplier experience Import/Export regulations knowledge Duties Solid accounting background and good experience with Pastel accounting software (will be the main/ only accountant) with a single person reporting to the individual (assisting with debtors, invoicing, backorders, recordkeeping etc). The successful applicant will be responsible for managing this individuals work. Good understanding of VAT returns and e-filing for this purpose Good understanding of tax law and dividend tax etc Debtors and Creditors Cash flow planning Management accounts & annual audit preparation (work in progress, income received in advance calculations etc) Some knowledge of BBEEE and POPI, PAIA Act although we do outsource these items to a specialist company Some HR experience is beneficial, salaries, leave etc Import & export regulations, foreign currency Workmans Compensation Recordkeeping & filing
