Job Description

Duties Levy clearance certificates and raising invoices for levy clearances. CIPC annual returns CIPC updates/changes directors / new members CIPC Beneficial Ownership preparation and submissions Assisting with preparing and formatting AFS or preparing accounting officer reports Assignment of a body corporate account or assistance to a larger account to, which includes: Updating the cashbooks during the month Prepare the trial balance and ensure general ledger agrees to subsidiary ledgers. Prepare and process accrual journals where necessary Send monthly accounts to trustees Attend to queries raised by trustees on the monthly accounts Upload the budget following the AGM approval Run levy statements Attend to queries raised by members on levy accounts, this may include preparing reconciliation of transactions for a period as necessary from time to time. Attend to water recovery charges for bodies corporate Prepare for annual audit for assigned bodies corporate, which requires certain additional accounting procedures, agreed with management. Update for levy changes to recurring charges Assignment of accounting service clients' accounts or assistance for larger account to prepare the monthly management and send to members/directors Assist with insurance claim processing and reconciliation of insurance claim accounts Support to other bookkeepers for processing of cashbooks, creditors and invoice processing for bodies corporate and accounting service Payroll matters for assigned clients Qualifications and Skills Matric and Administration or Bookkeeping Diploma or Degree Accpac software Payroll 3 years plus bookkeeping and administration experience
