Engineering Manager - Uruguay

The right candidate must be technically talented, hands-on, and have great interpersonal skills. If you like to work in a fast-paced environment, and full of challenges this is the place for you What you will be doing: Lead a team of tech leads, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions using Java and Spring Boot. Design and implement new features, focusing on system performance and maintainability. Conduct code reviews and enforce best coding practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical work with business goals. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues. Drive continuous improvement through CI/CD, automated testing, and adopting new technologies. Document architecture and technical processes for the team. Requirements: 2 years leading teams of developers, preferably as a Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role, with experience in coaching and supporting team members' technical growth. Proven experience as Backend Developer, with experience in Java, Spring Boot and AWS. Experienced with microservices architecture using Kubernetes, Argo, CI/CD pipelines. An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. Intermediate/Advanced English skills.
